Leander ISD is seeking more than 200 volunteers to join our Citizens’ Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC) as we create our long-range facility plan.

As we continue to manage growth across our 200-square miles, we are forming subcommittees to focus on:

  • elementary schools,
  • middle schools,
  • high schools,
  • ancillary services, and
  • Information technology.

Each subcommittee will work with a district administrator to evaluate district needs. We will host the first meeting virtually at 6 p.m. March 2 (Agenda | Livestream). Subcommittees will work with their team leaders and the steering committee to manage schedules and time.

As we build our committees, please know we are working to balance representation to include all regions of our district.

The culmination of the CFAC planning could include a recommendation for a future bond election package, which will ultimately go to the Board of Trustees for final approval before being presented to voters.
