Vista Ridge High School Junior Gowri Maracany is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Gowri is a dedicated visual arts student, consistently completing high achievements in art. She is also a member of the National Art Honor Society.
“Gowri consistently produces amazing art with a positive attitude. She is helpful and kind and goes above and beyond without even being asked,” Vista Ridge Visual Arts Teacher Lia Politi said. “She is a natural leader and is a great influence on those around her. She is so creative and motivated but is still constantly pushing to be better.”
