Cedar Park Middle School Eighth Grader grader Xibei Chen is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Xibei is not only a very talented artist, but she’s also a class leader. Xibei goes above and beyond on every art project, assists her peers and volunteers in art class.
“Xibei is the student all art teachers want in their class,” CPMS Art Teacher Nina Robbins said. “She works hard, is helpful and respectful, and creates the most amazing art. I’m sad Xibei will be moving on to high school next year, but so happy to see what she accomplishes in her future.”
When Xibei isn’t in the art room, she participates in Tech Theatre and excels in her academic classes which has provided her an opportunity to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
