Glenn High School FFA student Karlee Vinklarek is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week. Karlee, a junior, has accomplished a great deal since her freshman year in the FFA. Most recently, Karlee competed in Senior Creed Speaking and FFA Broadcasting; both received 1st place and are advancing to the Area XII contest.
She is also currently serving as the Capital District President elected by her peers. This really speaks to her ability to be a leader! Besides titles and winnings, Karlee also does a lot in the community. She is a part of PALS, delivers meals and clothing to low-income apartment complexes, and volunteers at Rodeo Austin. While she is out in the community helping others, she is also representing our organization by building positive relationships and sharing her knowledge.
“One of our goals as an FFA chapter is to promote agriculture literacy and I feel that Karlee’s leadership roles inside and outside of our chapter is helping this happen,” advisor Ashley Clark said. “I am proud to have a young lady like Karlee in our program. She works hard in everything that she does and is a great representation of what FFA stands for.”
Congratulations to Glenn High School’s Karlee Vinklarek, the LISD CTE Student of the Week!
