Beyond the “PALe” of awesomeness, Leander ISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week Cole Andrews-Heitz is killin’ it with kindness!

In his first year in the Peer Assistance & Leadership (PAL) program, the Rouse High School junior is doing an outstanding job. Between school, Raider basketball, and time with his palee, Cole also volunteers with the Gateway program at Stiles Middle School.

“Cole spends time asking students about their robotics projects,” Stiles MS Gateway teacher Monica Walker said. “He helps them understand the requirements of the project and sees whether or not they have met or exceeded the project’s expectations.”

Rouse HS PAL teacher Erin Morgan says Cole’s devotion to the program is visible to anyone who knows him.

“His ability to connect with others, especially his palee is incredibly heartwarming. He is making a huge difference in the lives of students at Stiles MS. I’m so proud of him!”

Pride in his athleticism, too. Cole’s character shines on the court.

“Cole has an incredible work ethic and makes all of those around him better by continually seeking ways to improve,” Rouse HS Head Boys Basketball Coach. “Cole is a strong leader and an amazing kid to coach.”

Congratulations #1LISD CTE Student of the Week Cole Andrews-Heitz!
