Construction at Larkspur Elementary School continues on schedule, while several more Bond 2017 projects have broken ground.

The district’s newest elementary schools is beginning to take shape, with tilt-wall forming, final grading for site paving, curb and roofing installation on tap for this month.

Middle School 9 will have the first onsite phases, including construction trailers, erosion controls and earthwork begin in January.

Also in December, crews at the North Transportation Center and Glenn High School Agriculture facility will work toward completing underground utilities (waste water, storm water, fire and domestic water) and begin underground site electrical and plumbing.

Construction continues at Monroe Stadium continues as crews begin working to add new guest grandstand bleachers, while work on the Cedar Park High School grandstands comes to a close. In addition, LISD is installing traffic gates at 10 elementary schools.

“Thanks to the voters in November 2017, we are excited to continue our bond construction program,” Trustee Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia said. “As we continue to honor our commitment to the community, we look forward to reaching future milestones with construction projects, completing them on time and on budget.”
