Two students — Leah Weston and Abigail Girardeau — from Cedar Park Middle School in Leander ISD were selected to perform in the Honor Choir at the 2025 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Conference in Dallas, TX. The prestigious ACDA National Honor Choir will perform on March 22 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center—considered one of the world’s best concert halls.
Approximately 300 students were selected through a competitive blind nationwide audition of more than 5,000 middle and high school students across the country to join the 5th – 7th Treble Honor Choir. “Selection for the ACDA National Honor Choir is a wonderful life-changing experience for these young singers,” said Cedar Park Middle School Choir Director Megan Weston. “It reflects the artistry, skill, and dedication of the students who make up the choir, given the thousands of talented vocalists from around the country who audition.”
Congratulations to Leah and Abigail for this honor and to the entire Cedar Park Middle School Choir!
