Cedar Park Middle School principal Keith Morgan, Ed.D., has been selected to represent the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) as Region 13 Outstanding Middle School Principal of the Year. TASSP recognizes outstanding principals and assistant principals from the twenty region Education Service Centers in the state.  School administrators are nominated and chosen by their peers within their regions.

“I am delighted to congratulate Dr. Morgan on this outstanding achievement on behalf of our entire #1LISD community,” said Area Superintendent Sarah Grissom. “He is a dynamic and passionate leader who builds positive learning environments for each and every student by engaging and empowering teachers, parents and community members. This recognition is both well-deserved and a testament to his skilled leadership.”

Nominations are based upon exemplary performance and outstanding leadership.  As a Region 13 winner, Dr. Morgan is eligible to compete for the state title of Texas Principal of the Year. Each of the region winners will be recognized during the Josten’s Night of the Stars Awards Dinner held in conjunction with the TASSP Summer Conference each June in Austin.
