Leander ISD’s Future Starts With You
What should Leander ISD look like 10 years from now? What do students and families need to thrive? And how do we preserve what our community values most while preparing for what’s ahead?
Those are the big questions at the heart of Leander ISD 2037, a districtwide planning effort focused on building a strong, sustainable future for our students, schools and community.
Over the next several months, Leander ISD will bring together community voices, district data and thoughtful analysis to create a shared vision and 10-year roadmap for the future. In partnership with Civic Solutions Group (CSG), the district will explore how changing enrollment, finances, facilities, staffing, programs and the evolving needs of students and families may shape the years ahead.
No predetermined outcomes. No destination already planned.
Leander ISD 2037 is designed to listen first. Students, staff, families, Trustees and community members will come together to understand what matters most, challenge assumptions and explore possibilities. That input will help establish the priorities that guide future decisions across the district.
The work begins now with a simple but important question: What does a thriving school look like in Leander ISD? The survey opens today. Community feedback will help shape a set of shared priorities expected to come before the Board of Trustees in December.
From there, the conversation will continue. Campus overview reports, potential future scenarios, financial and operational analysis, and additional opportunities for community feedback will help turn those priorities into a future-focused plan, with final recommendations expected in spring 2027.
