In an exciting Culture of Voting initiative, Leander ISD middle school students can showcase their creativity by designing their own “I Voted” stickers for the upcoming elections. This project aligns with one of the district’s 10 Ethical Principles of Civic Duty as students prepare to make the world a better place.
The district is partnering with Williamson County Elections, which is hosting the “I Voted” sticker design contest. Middle school students can express their vision of democracy through art. Participants may incorporate themes of civic engagement, community involvement, and the significance of making one’s voice heard.
The winning design will be used as the official “I Voted” sticker in the November 2024 election.
From now until Sept. 20, 2024, Williamson County middle school students can submit their entries for the contest. A panel of judges will determine a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner.

This initiative not only fosters creativity but also aims to educate students about the electoral process and the importance of exercising their right to vote as they approach eligible voting age.
