Teacher Jennifer Lusk at Giddens Elementary School is the Leander ISD Staff Spotlight of the Week.
Giddens Assistant Principal Brianne Kline said that Lusk, who is a Supplemental Reading Program (SRP) teacher, has gone above and beyond this year to support the success of both students and teachers. On top of Lusk’s already-full caseload of the students she serves for reading intervention, she also finds the time to coteach with kindergarten and plan and develop lessons around the six-syllable type for first and second grade. She is also always available to problem solve.
“Jennifer puts students first all day everyday and is an integral part of Giddens’ success,” Kline said.
