Leander ISD students competed at the UIL Academic State Meet held at the University of Texas at Austin May 2-4. Rouse High School took State Championships in both Social Studies and Journalism along with individual medals in different events. Vista Ridge, Vandegrift and Cedar Park high school competitors also won individual State medals in their respective categories at the State meet.
