Wiley Middle School theatre teacher Beth Auble was named the K-8 Teacher of the Year by the Texas Educational Theatre Association at the annual conference in July.
Ms. Auble is the fourth LISD teacher to receive this award since 2008.
Previous LISD K-8 Teachers of the year include: Diana Demeraude, Winkley Elementary School, 2006; Alisa Mirabella, Running Brushy Middle School, 2019; and Lindsey Ervi, Pleasant Hill Elementary School, 2011.
