Kids are gonna “Earn baby, earn!” thanks to Brittney Stewart. We’re recognizing her as Leander ISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week!

A CEO and student-athlete, the Vista Ridge High School senior takes charge. As an entrepreneurial leader, she’s building an app-based business through ACCELeratoredu. Allowance, LLC removes the stress and nagging parents face to get their children to do their chores. The app motivates children to “earn” gift cards to their favorite online gaming sites and stores. Brittney has worked extensively with their programmer to design the wireframes for their backend development and administrative panel as well as the app itself.

“Brittney doesn’t ‘allow’ herself to fail in her LLC Allowance!” Vista Ridge HS INCubator teacher Dana Jones said.

Even more so, Brittney balances volleyball, basketball and track alongside participating in an advanced entrepreneurial course while maintaining an A average.

“Brittney has been an outstanding student-athlete throughout high school. In basketball, she has been named to the honorable mention all-district team for the past several years as well as academic all-district.  She has been a model student-athlete at Vista Ridge,” Keith Allen, Vista Ridge High School Head Girls Basketball Coach, said.

What a payday! Congratulations #1LISD CTE Student of the Week Brittney Stewart!
