Junior Zoe Clark at Rouse High School is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education Student of the Week.
Zoe is editor of the Raider yearbook and designed this school year’s yearbook cover. She edits, writes, photographs and designs for the yearbook, all as part of the Advanced Journalism: Yearbook II course. Zoe also writes articles for Rouse’s online newspaper, the Raider Rumbler.
“Zoe has gone above and beyond for the yearbook this year especially as a second year staffer. She has spent hundreds of hours designing, writing and editing on the 260-page yearbook,” Rouse Journalism Advisor Shelby Nickells said. “She hand drew each of the shapes on the cover in Adobe Illustrator CC 2023. I could not be more proud of the time and effort she has devoted.”
Zoe also competes in UIL Journalism, specifically in the Feature Writing, Editorial Writing and Copy Editing categories.
