Earlier this week, the Board of Trustees named Chris Clark, Ed.D., as Acting Superintendent of Leander ISD during this period of transition.
In the video message, Clark shares his perspective with the Leander ISD community, reinforces continuity and outlines his focus for the months ahead as the district continues its work on behalf of students, families and staff.
Clark also acknowledges the upcoming superintendent search and emphasizes the importance of stability, strong systems and LISD’s continued focus on teaching and learning during this transition.
Information about the superintendent search process will be shared in January 2026 as details are finalized. Until then, Clark will lead the district’s day-to-day operations and support campuses and departments as LISD continues to serve students and families across the community.
