Jen Solomon has been there from the start. Since Reed Elementary opened in 2014, she has championed for students as a dedicated volunteer. She is always busy promoting PTA events, filling Wednesday Folders, serving as a Room Rep for multiple classrooms, leading the school book fair, helping with class picture day, and doing workroom jobs for teachers, among many other roles.

“Jen Solomon exemplifies what it means to be a school volunteer. She takes tremendous pride in serving in our school. She is smart, dedicated, and leads by example,” said principal Paige Collier. “Reed Elementary would not be the same without the work of our volunteers. Jen Solomon is top-notch, and I appreciate her very much.”

In a school centered on student leadership, Solomon is an exemplary role model to follow with her positive attitude, working with and encouraging others, as well as her impeccable organization and creativity. Her spirit of service knows no bounds, as she shows love and support to every child and adult at Reed Elementary. Because of her unwavering commitment in going the extra mile in service to students, Leander ISD recognizes this remarkable individual as Volunteer of the Week.
