Mithra Sowrirajan at Tarvin Elementary is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week!
Mithra is in PreK at Tarvin who shows concern for others on a daily basis. Recently, a couple of students in her class came to school teary-eyed and missing their parents. Mithra’s teacher, Corley Sims, asked the students who they would like to sit by to help cheer them up. Both studets answered, “Mithra.” Mithra held both students’ hands and helped them find toys to play with.
“Every student in our classroom knows that Mithra is a kind, reliable and generous friend. She is often sought out by students who are feeling sad and need a good friend,” Sims said. “Thank you, Mithra, for bringing such joy and kindness to our classroom every day!”
