Tuesday, December 8 – English 1 (paper)
Wednesday, December 9 – Biology and US History (online)
Thursday, December 10 – English 2 (paper)
Friday, December 11 – Algebra 1 (paper)

Students taking the test using the online format should follow the instructions below for a tutorial and practice.

Practicing for Online Testing:
To help ensure our students are comfortable with online assessment, students may engage in a tutorial and online practice.
The tutorial and online practice may be accessed at the following address: https://tx tss.caltesting.org/inbrowser/

When opening the link, the student will see the following:

• Please choose the Tutorial section first to ensure understanding of the tools available for online testing.
• After completing the tutorial, a student may access the Practice section which enables the student to practice online testing in a STAAR format. The practice section contains previous STAAR tests for various grade levels and content areas.
• The Summative and Interim assessment sections will not be active at this time.

Students are required to meet the passing standard on five STAAR End of Course assessments (Algebra I, English I, English II, Biology and US History) to graduate.

Texas Education Agency (TEA) has communicated that virtual and in-person students will need to take the STAAR EOCs at their campus site on the designated dates.

Testing from home is not an available option.

If a virtual student chooses to not take the exam they are scheduled for, the student is eliminating one of the testing opportunities to meet the passing standard as required for graduation.

Campuses are employing safety protocols to provide a safe learning/testing environment, including physical distancing and cleaning supplies such as disinfectant, sanitizer, etc.

Students are required to wear masks throughout the day while on campus.
