Take a bow, Christian Kidd, Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!

More commonly known as Drake, the graduating Glenn High School senior plays significant roles on and off the stage. At one moment he’s lead in this year’s One-Act play, the Girl in White Pinafore; the next moment, Drake is smocking the performers, nominated Greater Austin High Musical Theatre Award’s (GAHSMTA) Best Costumer for “The Addams Family”.

A leader throughout his three years in theatre, Drake became an officer with GHS’ Thespian Society, an honor club for advanced theatre students. Because of his academic achievements, Drake earned the distinction of Honor Thespian President’s List Scholar.

“Drake has been an integral part of this year’s One-Act play, directing and choreographing several portions as well as playing the lead,” Glenn High School Theatre Arts director Melody Morton said. “He also oversaw costuming 40 students in this year’s musical from scratch. He is a leader amongst his peers and a very talented performer with a bright future.”

A five-star review for Christian “Drake” Kidd – LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
